One day I was pulling design inspiration from Pinterest when I fell into a deep, dark hole of wedding advice. And honestly? Most if it was bad, outdated and just plain wrong. After expanding my search to other popular platforms, I came to the conclusion that there was really no easy way for engaged couples to get real, affordable, modern wedding advice tailored to them.

I don't believe there are any "rules" when it comes to wedding planning. I'm here to empower you to do what makes you happy.
I've been a wedding and event planner for over a decade. In the fall of 2022, I got married in a $500 dress from Etsy with a $15 Amazon veil. Our reception was at a dive bar with a Shake Shack truck outside. People are still telling me it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I didn't go on an expensive honeymoon, in fact, I still worked weddings the weekend before and after my own.

I got my start in events while working at a PR agency right out of college. There, I met Nicole who is now one of my best friends and the co-founder of our New Jersey-based, award-winning event and wedding planning business, Well-Dressed Events. While building Well-Dressed Events, I also ran event departments at well-known companies like Toys"R"Us, WeWork and NJ.com.
Now, with a decade of corporate and social event experience under my belt, I'm on a mission to help engaged couples everywhere get the wedding planning help they deserve.
